Sunday night delight

I know I shouldn’t, but I tend to get a sinking feeling halfway through Sunday afternoon, as I realise the end of the weekend is near. I thought I should take some time to think about all the lovely things that have happened last week, and what I’m looking forward to.

This week…

Really enjoyed getting the house all straight after the craziness of wedding preparation. Never thought I would enjoy tidying so much!

The tidy house disappeared almost immediately with the arrival of our wedding presents. But it was so exciting! Like a mega-Christmas of unwrapping lots of lovely things.

Also having lots of evenings in with Will has been wonderful – we are like content pensioners.

This weekend…

Spent a lovely afternoon with an old friend and her two week old newborn. Lovely chat and baby cuddles – such a joy.

Today was very unusual as headed to London with a group of friends to attend the climate change march. The climate march approaching WestminsterIt often feels like there is nothing to be done for all the terrible things in the world, so making a small difference is a great feeling.

The week to come…

I’m looking forward to getting back to the craft group I attend, haven’t been since the wedding and honeymoon so will be good to be back.

Our official wedding photos are also arriving this week – can’t wait to see them all and relive everything.

Have you got any exciting plans for the week ahead?
